病氣には深度があります。特に外邪といわれる風寒暑湿に直接触れるのは皮膚になりますので、そこからの侵入がメインストリートとなります。皮膚から入った外邪は、体の深い中心部分に浸透していきます。しかし、皮膚にある浅い邪を取り払うことが出来れば、治療の効果はすぐに出てくるでしょう。
また、皮膚は様々な変化を感じ取ります。氣温、湿度、感触、人からの視線、話し相手の機嫌など、目には見えないたくさんの情報を得ています。この情報収集が過剰になり過ぎて、疲れる人はとても多いのです。

Illnesses have depth. The skin is the part that comes into direct contact with wind, cold, heat, and humidity, which are known as external evils, so this is the main way that they enter the body. External evils that enter through the skin will penetrate deep into the body’s core. However, if you can remove the superficial evils on the skin, the effects of treatment will appear immediately.
The skin also senses various changes. It receives a lot of invisible information, such as temperature, humidity, touch, other people’s gazes, and the mood of the person you’re talking to. Many people become exhausted from collecting too much information.
