“The nine orifices are the qi of pouring water.”– “Somon” Yin-Yang-Osho-Taron Volume 5.
The “nine orifices” refer to the nine openings in the human body: the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, anus, and anus. The “water-pouring Qi” refers to the Qi generated from water (food), or what is known as acquired Qi. Openings are places that connect to the outside world and are also pathways for Qi. Therefore, the nine orifices are the places where the water drawn by that Qi pours out.
For example, imagine you put water in a pot and put it on the fire. The heated water rises in temperature and steam is generated. This steam is the qi in the water, and when this qi comes into contact with something, it condenses. This is exactly the “qi of pouring water.”
