陰である地は静かだからこそ万物を乗せることが出来ます。一方、陽である天には太陽や月の運行、風や雨などの天気の変化、鳥の群れなど、いつも躁（さわが）しく変化が目まぐるしいものです。そして人は、天と地上、すなわち陽と陰の間にあって、これらの影響を受けて生活をしています。

The earth, which is yin, is quiet, which is why it can carry all things. Meanwhile, the sky, which is yang, is always noisy and constantly changing, with the movements of the sun and moon, changes in the weather such as wind and rain, and flocks of birds. And people live their lives between the sky and the earth, that is, between yang and yin, and are influenced by these things.
